Video Top-Level Contents
The video-related contents of this CD are in a number of
sub-directories according to source (usually the manufacturer or author). I have
grouped the contents under sub-headings for content, streaming media applications, (other)
encoders and decoders, and other tools. Some material was not available in
time for the CD, or there were other restrictions. In these cases I
provide a link to the source. Each link takes you to a ReadMe in the
appropriate directory with additional details.
Video Content
At one stage I had planned to include both 525/60 and
625/50 material, but I soon ran out of space. In fact, the purpose of the material
on the CD is experimentation, so I expect the material to be used on a computer rather
than a television. In this case the 525/60 material should still be useful in 50 Hz
countries.
