The pre-registration deadline has been extended to 8 January 2006.
The objective of the meeting is twofold. The first is to review the
modern views on the Mars - solar wind interaction and its impact on the
Martian atmosphere. The second is to bring together teams working with
the data from plasma instruments operational now at Mars, i.e., the
particle and field sensors aboard MGS and MEX.
The workshop will follow the Kiruna style. Invited speakers will give
oral presentations with plenty time for discussions. Each talk is one
hour with approximately 40
min for presentations and 20 min for discussions. Questions /
discussions during presentation are welcomed. All contributed papers
will be presented as posters. The 3-day workshop includes 18 - 20
invited talks and 2 poster sessions. A special issue of Space Science
Reviews will be dedicated to papers presented at this workshop.
