High-latitude crochet: puzzling solar flare effect at high-latitude larger than low latitudes

Using ground magnetmeters including Kiruna magnetometer operated by IRF, we found a new type of the solar flare effect on the dayside ionospheric current at high latitudes. The effect is much larger than at low-latitude where solar radiation is maximum, while the phenomna is seen in limitide latitude range. Details are presented at the seminar
