Remote Sensing at SMHI in Norrköping
This talk will give an overview about activities around remote sensing at SMHI. These activities are rather wide spread and focuses on several aspects: Development of software to analyse satellite images, calculation of cloud climatologies, ground-based radar observation and processing, data assimilation, and last but not least direct readout issues and operational processing of imager data.
Based on this, future plans for development and respective expertise will be discussed to explore potential for future cooperation.
